What if God revealed himself in a way that was personal, powerful and impossible to ignore?
We believe God gives each of us our first breath when we come into the world.Gen 2:7 God formed a man’s body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life. And man became a living person.
From that moment on, he makes himself available to be known and loved by each person, just as he
knowsLuke 12:7 he knows the number of hairs on your head
lovesEph 3:18-19 may you be able to feel and understand, as all God’s children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it.
each one of us.
He loves you no matter who you are or what you’ve done.Romans 5:8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
There is nothing we can do to get right with God.Eph 2:8 you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God
We are powerless to do that, because God is perfect and holy and what could we possibly do to earn his acceptance when we are always struggling with our less than perfect selves? Sure we have our good days, but eventually we’re selfish, angry, proud, deceitful... the list goes on. No matter how hard we try, we mess it up. We all mess it up.
So a perfect and infinitely powerful God took care of that for us.Romans 3:25 people are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood
We don’t have to worry about being “good enough” for God. God bridges the gap between us and him with Jesus. Jesus came to earth fully human and fully God.
God came to us.John 1:17 God's unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.
More than 2,000 years later, people are still talking about what happened next – millions of people. Jesus, the Son of God, took all our wrong-ness, our failures and our shame upon himself and
was killed so we could be forgiven.Corinthians 11:23-24 on the night when He was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread and gave thanks for it. Then He broke it in pieces and said, "This is my body, which is given for you."
He paid for every wrong we have done, are doing and have yet to do. The big news though is that
he didn’t stay dead.Acts 2:24 death could not keep him in its grip
He walked out of his grave back to his rightful place alongside God. It was an event that shook the world and changed everything. And he left everyone who believes with a promise that he would be with them forever changing them and
making them new.Cor 5:17 When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun!
Death won't end that for us because we will
live for eternity in that perfect relationship.John 3:16 God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
What if you looked for God and found him?
God says that we’ll find him if we sincerely look for Him.Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
He asks us to believe in Jesus. He tells us that if we believe in him and follow him, we will be made right with him. There’s no to-do list. No magic formula where the good stuff we do outweighs the bad. We can choose to believe anywhere, anytime, in any circumstance. When we do,
God’s Spirit lives within us helping us to know God and love him.Acts 2:21 you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you
So look for him – you'll find him.
Talk to himActs 1:8 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved

What if believing actually changed you?
The Spirit that God gives us when we respond to God with any amount of belief changes us. You might find that change happens slowly and even painfully. Sometimes it happens dramatically.
But when you believe, change does happen,John 1:12 to all who believed Him and accepted Him he gave the right to become children of God
and you begin a new life that is lived in God’s power instead of your own. The world is a messy place, but God goes with you right through it, each and every good and bad day. There is nothing like really knowing that deep in your soul.
